LAKE OSWEGO, Ore.Jan. 21, 2015 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- Medolac Laboratories, a public benefit corporation (www.medolac.com) issued the following letter today following the Open Letter received on Jan. 12, 2015, regarding the planned but unimplemented Commitment to Action: Co-op Campaign to Increase Breastfeeding in Urban Areas, which has now been retired for reasons stated in the letter.  No donors were ever recruited under the planned initiative.

We would like to sincerely thank those Detroit community organizations and local partners that bring such passion to improving health outcomes and economic opportunity within their community and the privilege we had to be able to engage with them.  We look forward to a future opportunity to provide assistance in efforts to address the chronic issues affecting urban breastfeeding and prematurity.
